Roles and Responsibilities:
Logistics Management:
- Coordinate and manage the flow of goods, ensuring timely delivery to customers and safe and
efficient product distribution.
- Plan and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory/FG Stock levels— conduct regular stock checks.
- Track shipments daily.
Transportation Coordination:
- Arrange transportation for goods, negotiate with carriers for competitive rates, and ensure
compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Optimise transportation routes to minimise costs and maximise efficiency.
Documentation and recordkeeping:
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other logistics-related documents to ensure
smooth operations and compliance with legal requirements.
- Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Documentation as per ISO standards
Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with Rinac branches, suppliers, and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of materials
and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Evaluate the performance of logistics partners and vendors.
Problem Solving:
- Address any logistical challenges or disruptions promptly to minimize impact on operations and
customer satisfaction
- Implement process improvements to enhance logistics operations.
Cost Management:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize logistics processes and reduce
expense
