Qualification
Graduation in any discipline /Professional course in logistics (preferred)
Role Objective
The Executive – Logistics will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of logistics and supply chain operations, including transportation, inventory control, documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Logistics Management
- Coordinate and manage the movement of goods to ensure timely delivery, safe handling, and efficient distribution to customers.
- Plan and schedule shipments in line with project and customer timelines.
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory and finished goods (FG) stock levels and conduct regular stock checks.
- Track daily shipment status and update relevant stakeholders.
Transportation Coordination
- Arrange transportation, negotiate rates with transporters/carriers, and ensure compliance with statutory and safety regulations.
- Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and improve delivery efficiency.
Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, e-way bills, LR copies, and other logistics-related documents.
- Prepare shipping and dispatch documentation in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure logistics documentation complies with ISO standards and internal audit requirements.
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with Rinac branches, suppliers, and logistics vendors to ensure timely material movement and issue resolution.
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of transporters and logistics partners.
Problem Solving & Process Improvement
- Address logistical issues, delays, or disruptions promptly to minimize impact on operations and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency.
Cost Management
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in logistics and transportation.
- Implement measures to optimize logistics processes and reduce overall logistics costs.
