Roles and responsibilities:
Inspection and Testing:
- Identify & Establish CTQ [Critical To Quality], CTP [Critical To Product] parameters and Quality Assurance Plan [QAP].
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Use precision measurement tools and equipment to verify product dimensions and functionality.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
Problem-Solving and Improvement:
- Identify defects or non-conformities in products and processes through root cause analysis.
- Implement correction & corrective actions (CA) to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve quality problems and enhance processes.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, inspection results, and non-conformance issues.
- Communicate quality-related issues and performance trends to management and other stakeholders.
Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to support quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide training and guidance on quality control procedures and best practices to production staff.
Skills:
- Knowledge on quality control principles and manufacturing processes specific to refrigeration system manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using measurement instruments and quality control software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Working Conditions:
