Job Objective

“Manager – Logistics”, will be responsible in the company to manage logistics & Supply Chain operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

    Logistics Management

    • Coordinate and manage the flow of goods, ensuring timely delivery to customers and safe, efficient distribution of products.
    • Plan and schedule shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

    Inventory Management

    • Monitor inventory and finished goods (FG) stock levels and conduct regular stock checks.
    • Track shipments on a daily basis.

    Transportation Coordination

    • Arrange transportation for goods, negotiate with carriers for competitive rates, and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
    • Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

    Documentation and Record-Keeping

    • Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other logistics-related documents to ensure smooth operations and legal compliance.
    • Prepare shipping documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain documentation as per ISO standards.

    Vendor Management

    • Collaborate with :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0} branches, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve issues.
    • Evaluate the performance of logistics partners and vendors.

    Problem Solving

    • Address logistical challenges or disruptions promptly to minimize impact on operations and customer satisfaction.
    • Implement process improvements to enhance logistics operations.

    Cost Management

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize logistics processes and reduce expenses.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • B.Tech / BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 12–15 years of experience in logistics, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in logistics management, inventory management, transportation coordination, and cost management.
