“Branch Manager” is responsible for overseeing the operations of a designated branch, managing a team, attainment of business objectives and maintaining strong relationships with dealers, customers and other stakeholders and ensuring exceptional customer service. Enabling Zonal / Product heads with market & competition information, inputs on new product requirements and industry trends.

Roles and responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership and Management
    1. Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to team members.
    2. Foster a positive work environment that encourages productivity and teamwork.
  2. Business Development:
    1. Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the branch’s market.
    2. Develop and execute business plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
    3. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to implement promotional activities.
    4. Establish connects and nurture business relationships with business influencers.
  3. Customer Service:
    1. Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
    2. Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints effectively.
    3. Promote a customer-centric culture within the branch.
  4. Operations Management:
    1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch.
    2. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures.
    3. Monitor branch activities to achieve financial objectives and targets.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferably in Mechanical / Electrical.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales & business development role in cold chain industry.
  • Good knowledge of cold chain solutions viz cold rooms/ freezers / blast chillers & freezer / cold warehouses etc.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
